Kampusbet ~ " Jamie Vardy 'fully pumped up' for Leicester's title run-in after successful groin operation "
Agen CasinO ~ Jamie Vardy says he is “fully pumped up” for Leicester 's title run-in after a successful groin operation helped him end his mini-drought.
England striker Vardy netted for the first time since December 14 in a 3-0 home win over Stoke .
It
was the forward's 16th Premier League goal of the season as City went
back top of the table and he returned to the front of the golden boot
race.
Vardy, 29, had previously gone seven matches without scoring amid a long-standing groin problem.
The
star needed pain-killing injections to play on before an operation
earlier this month when he returned quickly without missing a Premier
League game.
Vardy said: “You go through a spell where you don’t score but thankfully I’ve scored a goal.
“It’s just one of those things that happens to strikers.
“It was well documented that I had to have an operation and I was playing with pain-killing injections.
“But I could have literally gone straight back into training after my operation.
Bandar Judi Online CasinO ~ “I think this is the best my groin has felt.
“It was just a case of the pain from the operation which made me sit
out a few training sessions, but other than that I’m fully pumped up and
ready to go.”
Vardy and the league leaders return to action on
Tuesday when Liverpool visit the King Power Stadium ahead of games at
Man City and Arsenal.
New signing Daniel Amartey,21, will be available after his move from FC Copenhagen last week.
Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri, dubbed 'The Tinkerman', said: “He is a strong man and he can play in a lot of positions.
“He can play centre-back, right-back, central midfield and right midfield.
“It’s good to have one player that can permit me to change something during the match.
“He’s a good player, strong, with good quality, a hard worker and he has our spirit.
“It’s important for me to have another very good young player.”
