Per Mertesacker admits Arsenal's performance in Olympiacos defeat was "not acceptable"

Kampusbet  -    Per Mertesacker admits Arsenal's performance in Olympiacos defeat was "not acceptable"

Agen Klik4D  -    Arsenal centre-back Per Mertesacker admitted the side's 3-2 defeat to Olympiakos was "not acceptable".

The Gunners are facing an early exit from the Champions League after losing their opening two group games.

Arsene Wenger's side face back-to-back games against Bayern Munich in matchdays three and four, knowing they can't afford to lose both if they are to progress to the competition's knockout stages.

“We lacked that concentration and it is not understandable why we drifted and did not do the job we are used to doing," Mertesacker, a second-half substitute, told Arsenal Player.

"That is not acceptable and we will be punished [for that] in the Champions League.

We need to get behind the ball and play better defensively. We lacked discipline, even when you get a goal back don’t rush yourself.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  -   "Get your discipline back and with possession you get your chances. If we are not disciplined and do not chase the ball we have got no chance."

Next up for Arsenal is a Premier League home clash with table-toppers Manchester United and Mertesacker says it is crucial for the team to bounce back.

We have got a couple of days to look back on that performance," added Mertesacker. "I think everyone will have regrets and it is good to take that away.

“It will take a couple of days to recover and to think about Manchester United and play in a different competition, which will be a good opportunity to come back to the Emirates and play our football with possession and dynamism.”

Mertesacker could partner Gabriel against United after Laurent Koscielny suffered a hamstring injury in the second-half against Olympiakos.

Brendan Rodgers slams "hysteria" around Liverpool's poor start but admits "some people don't want me here as manager"

Kampusbet  -   Brendan Rodgers slams "hysteria" around Liverpool's poor start but admits "some people don't want me here as manager"

Agen MaxbeT  -    Brendan Rodgers slammed the "hysteria" surrounding Liverpool 's poor start to the season and admitted there are supporters who don't want him to remain at the club.

The Reds boss was in bullish mood after watching his side move into the top half of the table with a 3-2 win over Aston Villa.

The fastest goal of the Premier League season to date from James Milner and a brace from Daniel Sturridge catapulted Liverpool from 13th to 7th place in the top flight.

Asked about the pressure on Liverpool, Rodgers said: "I never worry about the players, the players have been absolutely brilliant. This group here work very hard.

"Of course there's a lot of hysteria and I think that continues. I'm pretty confident that there's obviously a group of people who don't want me here as the manager.

But certainly from my perspective I look at it in all competitions we've lost less games than Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  -   "And we've lost two games which is equivalent to Manchester United and Tottenham but obviously the hysteria around ourselves is interesting to note.

"From myself and the players we're staying very calm and working very hard every day knowing we'll get our rewards for it - and today they got their rewards. I'm delighted for them."

Asked for clarification on what he meant by talking about "the hysteria", Rodgers added: "I think it's pretty clear.

"If you look, sometimes we haven't lost games or we have lost games and not performed well, but I think the hysteria around it is pretty clear that there's maybe something else going on from behind.

“But for me I will continue to work with the players, they've been absolutely first class and we'll continue to work on our game and we've got more top class players to come back in."

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois issues injury update and says "everything is going very well"

Kampusbet  -    Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois issues injury update and says "everything is going very well"

Agen  TangKasneT  -   Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says his injury rehabilitation is going "very well".

The Belgian took to Facebook to post an update to his fans, one week after undergoing knee surgery that has ruled him out for three months.

He posted two images, one showing his iced-up knee and the other showing him with his thumbs up and a smile on his face.

The 23-year-old wrote: "Since 1 week started my rehabilitation. Everything is going very well on the moment! Thanks for you support!"

The goalkeeper added the hashtags '#workhard' and '#comebackstronger'.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  -   Courtois went under the knife last Thursday after tearing the meniscus in his right knee during a training session.

The Belgian international is nnow expected to be out until at least mid-December.

An official Chelsea statement at the time read: "Thibaut Courtois underwent surgery yesterday on an avulsion of the posterior corner and medial part of the internal meniscus of his right knee.

The successful surgery consisted of a reattachment of the meniscus by suturing."

Asmir Begovic replaced him for last weekend's win over Arsenal and the Capital One Cup success over Walsall.

He is set to be between the posts against Newcastle on Saturday, with youngster Jamal Blackman again on the bench.

Arsenal plot new contracts for Mesut Ozil and Nacho Monreal as they review the squad's deals

Kampusbet  -    Arsenal plot new contracts for Mesut Ozil and Nacho Monreal as they review the squad's deals

Agen Sbo CasiN0 -   Arsene Wenger is holding a major review of first-team contracts at Arsenal — and that could mean a new deal for record £42million signing Mesut Ozil.

Theo Walcott signed a new deal in July that puts him close to the likes of midfielder Ozil — already the squad's highest-paid player — and fellow forward Alexis Sanchez near the top of the Gunners' salary league on around £140,000-a-week.

Defender Nacho Monreal has already been offered a new three-year deal and looks set to sign on and the North Londoners tied down striker Olivier Giroud on a fresh contract over the summer.

Although Ozil is on a deal that does not run out until 2018, the club will be keen to extend it before he gets anywhere near going into its final two years.

Bandar Judi Online Sbo CasiN0 -  The 26-year-old, who won the 2014 World Cup with Germany, enjoyed an impressive end to last season and is now showing his best form on a consistent basis.

There was a surprising link with Istanbul side Fenerbahce this summer, but although Ozil has Turkish ancestry it is understood he is happy in London and likely to extend.

With Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta in their 30s and into the final year of their contracts, Arsenal are likely to look to add another midfielder next summer.

Juan Mata dedicates Manchester United's win at Southampton to injured teammate Luke Shaw

Kampusbet  -    Juan Mata dedicates Manchester United's win at Southampton to injured teammate Luke Shaw

Agen SbobeT  -    Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata dedicated the Red Devils' 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday to injured defender Luke Shaw.

The England left-back is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after his Champions League leg break hell.

United returned to action after their 2-1 slump at PSV Eindhoven last Tuesday with a win on the south coast, with Mata and an Anthony Martial double enough to earn three points.

And Mata, who notched United's third, was quick to declare that United's victory was for their stricken teammate.

We are all very sorry for Luke," the Spanish playmaker told Sky Sports.

"Obviously what happened to him was very unlucky, but he knows we are all with him and this victory is for him."

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT -  United had to come from behind to claim the win against Ronald Koeman's Saints, after Graziano Pelle's first-half opener.

But Martial's brace and Mata's cool finish pushed United 3-1 ahead before the Italian's late header made for an edgy final few minutes for Louis van Gaal's men.

Mata acknowledged that for much of the first period, United were second best.

"Southampton are a very difficult team, which changes the situation because in the first 30 minutes we played badly," he added.

"They were the better team and created even more chances to score more goals but with the first goal we changed that.

"In the second half we started to play well and Anthony Martial got his second goal. I scored the third goal for the team and from then we kept good possession and managed the game.

"Obviously in the Premier League you have to go to the last minute to get the points.

Louis van Gaal backs Wayne Rooney to end barren spell and become Man United's record goalscorer

Kampusbet -   Louis van Gaal backs Wayne Rooney to end barren spell and become Man United's record goalscorer

Agen Klik4D  -   Louis van Gaal has backed Wayne Rooney to become Manchester United's record scorer - despite his domestic goal drought.

United skipper Rooney has not scored for 10 Premier League games, a 864-minute drought stretching back to April 4 last season at Aston Villa.

The forward, who missed United's last two games with a tight hamstring, is fit again and ready to start tomorrow's clash at Southampton.

Rooney has 233 goals for United, just 16 short of Sir Bobby Charlton's total, whose England record he recently eclipsed with his 50th international strike.

Van Gaal expects Rooney, 29, to surpass Charlton at club level too, and dismissed the fact his captain has gone so long without a domestic goal.

"He scored against Bruges," said van Gaal. "It doesn't matter if it's the Premier League or the Champions League.

"I was very happy when we scored more goals, and it doesn't matter to me who is scoring.

"But we have to score more. When you are so dominant as we are, in all the matches, we have to win these games.

Wayne has a range of scoring goals, like Juan Mata, Memphis, Anthony Martial and Marouane Fellaini. You can count all the goals he's made.

"To my memory, Rooney has scored a lot. He's nearly the record holder in the club, so I hope he will beat that record, but I have to wait and see, like you do."

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  -  Van Gaal said United defender Luke Shaw has amazed him with his mental strength following his horror leg break in midweek.

Shaw is set to return to Manchester today, following surgery on the double broken leg he suffered in United's 2-1 defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

"I called him last evening," said van Gaal. "He sounds very strong.

"That's amazing for me, a big surprise and a good signal. But he knows it's also a long way he has to go."

Shaw was due to have a second operation in Eindhoven, but will now undergo that procedure on his return to Manchester.

"It's a closing of the stitches or something," said van Gaal. "The pressure was too high, that's why an immediate operation was needed.

"Opening the leg, you need to close it also. It's not an operation, but a typical minor operation.

"He will go to a private clinic in Manchester. When it's okay, depending on the development of the injury, then he will go home, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday."

Van Gaal admitted the appalling nature of Shaw's injury may ultimately have a galvanising effect on the rest of his squad and bring them closer together.

"I cannot see in the heads of the players," said van Gaal. "But I have now read that some players said it had an influence.

"Maybe it will have a positive influence in the dressing-room. When you see us playing and the spirit we have, I don't have any doubts."

Vincent Kompany insists Manchester City won't underestimate Premier League title rivals

Kampusbet -   Vincent Kompany insists Manchester City won't underestimate Premier League title rivals

Agen MaxbeT -    Vincent Kompany claims it would be a big mistake for Manchester City to assume Chelsea are their only title rivals.

City are being tipped to runaway with the Premier League because they have made a perfect start, while Chelsea have collapsed.

Kompany insists City cannot think like this and ignore the potential threat from the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, who are five points behind the Blues.

Kompany says Manuel Pellegrini's side must just focus on maintaining their great start and ignore Chelsea's troubles.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT -  "It is irrelevant what they [Chelsea] are doing," said the Blues skipper.

"The biggest mistake that could be made is to think it will be a league between Chelsea and City. That is not the case at all.

"United are there, other teams will come back during the season. It is not about us and Chelsea.

"When you start the way we have done, the best thing is to focus just on ourselves. It's clichéd, but it's true."

Steven Gerrard reveals he couldn't stop crying on the back of infamous Chelsea slip

Kampusbet  -   Steven Gerrard reveals he couldn't stop crying on the back of infamous Chelsea slip

Agen TangKAsnet -   Steven Gerrard has revealed the heartache he went through in the immediate aftermath of his infamous slip against Chelsea two seasons ago.

Liverpool were on the brink of winning the Premier League for the first time when the Blues came to town on 27 April 2014.

Two more wins would most likely have guided the Reds to their first top flight title in 24 years.

Gerrard, entering the twilight of his career, seemed destined to finally lift the one trophy in English football he had never got his hands on.

But in the first-half of the match against Jose Mourinho's side, Gerrard slipped after failing to control a simple pass, allowing Demba Ba in to score the opening goal of the match.

Bandar Judi Online TangKAsnet -  Chelsea went on to record a 2-0 win. Manchester City went on to record their second Premier League title.

"I had wanted to win it with Liverpool for so long that, now it had gone again, I could not hold my emotion in check," Gerrard says in his new book, serialised in the Daily Mail.

"I sat in the back of the car and felt the tears rolling down my face. I hadn't cried for years but, on the way home, I couldn't stop. The tears kept coming. I can't even tell you if the streets were thick with traffic or as empty as I was on the inside. It was killing me.

"Instead of hitting a long crossfield pass to set up a goal, making a decisive tackle or curling the ball into the back of the Chelsea goal to seal our victory, I had fallen over."

Daniel Sturridge returns to Liverpool training - after nearly an entire SEASON of injury woes

Kampusbet -   Daniel Sturridge returns to Liverpool training - after nearly an entire SEASON of injury woes

Agen Sbo CasiN0 -    Daniel Sturridge returned to training with Liverpool today, as he stepped up his comeback from crippling injury.

But the Reds star has no chance of playing against arch rivals Manchester United on Saturday, despite returning to action ahead of schedule.

The striker was involved in a full contact session with the first team this morning, and he delighted boss Brendan Rodgers with his recovery, after almost a full season of injury woes.

Yet the return comes far too early for the forward to come into the reckoning for the game at Old Trafford, even though Liverpool would desperately love to have him back, in the absence of the suspended Philippe Coutinho.

Bandar Judi Online Sbo CasiN0 -  Sturridge hasn’t played since April, and spent the summer in the United States recovering from hip surgery which the Liverpool medics are convinced has cured his long-standing problems.

He flew back to England last month to continue his rehabilitation, but has been working away from the rest of the first team squad at Melwood as he builds his fitness up.

Liverpool have real problems ahead of the United game, with Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana also likely to miss the trip along with Coutinho.

Henderson will definitely miss out with a foot problem, while Lallana is struggling to recover from a damaged thigh.

Jurgen Klopp hints he'd be happy to manage a non-Champions League club as long as they're "exciting"

Kampusbet -   Jurgen Klopp hints he'd be happy to manage a non-Champions League club as long as they're "exciting"

Agen Sbo CasiN0 -  Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about a possible return to management and his hopes for an “exciting project” to take on.

The 48-year-old former Borussia Dortmund boss was heavily linked with several clubs including Liverpool, before owners FSG gave their backing to Brendan Rodgers after the end-of-season review.

Klopp left Dortmund in the summer after a successful spell which brought two Bundesliga titles and a Champions league final and speculation has been rife about where he might renew his managerial career, the Liverpool Echo report.

Speaking at the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) in Berlin – as quoted in Bild – Klopp is enjoying his break but is already thinking about a return to coaching.

Klopp said: “I’m really very relaxed – but only because I know that it goes some time. I’ll be back to train a team.“

And once again Klopp suggested he would prefer to take on a project suggested his destination would be “not an absolute top club, there are other good projects that are exciting who need help.”

Bandar Judi Online Sbo CasiN0 -  And Klopp is still finding plenty of things to occupy his time: “I inform, read, meet a lot of people – there are ordinary little things that make great fun. I miss currently nothing."

Klopp’s comments about the level of his next team echo those of his agent Marc Kosicke back in June when he said the Premier League was very exciting and added: “We do not only think about the top four because there are some other great clubs below them.

“It is always all about the challenge.

“He has the great ability to develop things. If he goes into a stadium, feels the energy and thinks that he can make a difference here, this could be more attractive to him than going with the big deals and aim for the treble.”

Wherever Klopp emerges, it will be a newly svelte version, as he appeared at a coaches' conference this week with a new trim figure attributed to regaining his love for sports.

Manchester City almost missed out on signing David Silva - because of Manuel Pellegrini

Kampusbet -   Manchester City almost missed out on signing David Silva - because of Manuel Pellegrini

Agen Klik4D -   Manchester City would have missed out on David Silva had Manuel Pellegrini got his wish to sign the Spanish playmaker for Real Madrid
.

City’s Chilean manager advised Real president Florentino Perez to buy Silva in the summer of 2009 instead of Brazilian Kaka, the Manchester Evening News report.

That same summer the Spanish giants also paid a world record £80m for Cristiano Ronaldo - but a new biography about Pellegrini reveals that he was intent on luring Silva to the Bernabeu.

In Pellegrini: Lessons about life and football, journalist Patricio Abarca recounts how the then Real manager advised Perez to move for Silva instead of Kaka, whose long-term fitness was in doubt due to concerns about cartilage problems in both knees.

Pellegrini lasted just one season at the Bernabeu, but was eventually united with Silva when taking over at the Etihad in 2013.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D -  City fans can only be grateful that Perez ignored Pellegrini’s advice, with Silva going to on to join them in a £26m deal the following year.

Abarca’s book also reveals how Pellegrini saw himself in Martin Demichelis when the pair first worked together at River Plate and how he was a fan of former England manager Fabio Capello’s great AC Milan side of the 1990s.

Former player Juvenal Olmos said: “He loved watching Fabio Capello’s team.

“In the hotel before games he would be like the television announcer telling us all what time the Milan game kicked off.”

Victor Wanyama vows to "fully concentrate" on Southampton despite botched attempt to join Spurs

Kampusbet -   Victor Wanyama vows to "fully concentrate" on Southampton despite botched attempt to join Spurs

Agen MaxbeT -   Victor Wanyama has promised to “fully concentrate” at Southampton after failing to force a move to Tottenham.

The Kenyan midfielder, 24, was told he would not be allowed to leave despite demanding to be reunited with former boss Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman left Wanyama out of two matchday squads, including last week’s 3-0 win over Norwich, insisting the former Celtic star was not in the right frame of mind to play.

But Wanyama, currently on international duty, has now vowed to knuckle down. He said: “I will fully concentrate on Southampton since I have a contract with them running.

“It didn’t affect me in any way. I’m still a Southampton player and I will give my best when I go back and hopefully, we will win more games.”

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT -  Spurs are understood to have offered a package including either Andros Townsend or Erik Lamela on loan for him.

But their bid was rejected as Southampton want to end their drain of talent and did not want to strengthen a direct rival.

Instead, the south coast club intend to offer Wanyama a new five-year deal. It remains to be seen whether he will commit himself long term with just two years left on his contract and Spurs set to return for him in January.

But he has promised to focus on his football and put the summer controversy behind him.

He added: “It has been difficult for the team when I was away but things will be alright. These things happen but I’m good to go.”

West Ham are biggest deadline day movers so far with signings of Song, Moses, Jelavic AND Antonio

Agen SBO Casino , Kampusbet -   West Ham are biggest deadline day movers so far with signings of Song, Moses, Jelavic AND Antonio

Judi Online -   West Ham have had the best of it on deadline day so far with the signings of FOUR new players.

Victor Moses, Alex Song, Nikica Jelavic and Michail Antonio have all put pen to paper on contracts at Upton Park.

Moses and Song have joined on loan from their respective parent clubs, Chelsea and Barcelona, with Jelavic joining from Hull on a permanent deal.

Winger Antonio arrives from Nottingham Forest on a four-year deal, while Jelavic, 30, has signed a two-year contract at the Boleyn Ground with the option of a further two years.

He said: "I've played for Slaven before [with the Croatian national team] and he is a great manager and a great man. I am really happy and delighted to be working with him and all his staff again."

Bandar Agen SBO CASINO Terpercaya -   Moses, 24, extended his contract at Chelsea before being allowed to join the Hammers, his third loan club in as many seasons.

"Delighted to sign a new deal at Chelsea and now looking forward to a good season with West Ham," he tweeted.

Song, who spent last campaign on loan at Upton Park, has joined for another season with the option of an extra year on top of that.

"It was a very easy choice for me to come back and I'm very happy to be here," said Song.

"I feel at home and my family do too. They're set up very well here and my kids are playing for West Ham academy."
