Jack Wilshere says Arsenal are ready to topple Jose Mourinho's Chelsea in the league next season

Judi Online -   Jack Wilshere promised on Sunday night Arsenal were ready to topple Jose Mourinho in next season’s title race.

He was confident the Gunners could overhaul Chelsea and the Manchester clubs because they were no longer plagued by doubts they they could win big games.

The midfielder believes a new inner strength instilled in the team this term helped them win the FA Cup and makes them genuine title contenders next season.

The Gunners midfielder said: “I think this season we’ve made a big step mentally. Next year we feel that can really push Chelsea, City and United for the title.

“I remember in previous years going to big games, Man United, City, Chelsea, thinking ‘have we really got a chance today?’ But this year from the first big game, Man City at home, Man City away, we did well.

“We always thought we had a chance. Even United away we got a point. That’s a big step that we needed to do so next year we feel like we’re in a better position.

“I remember coming away from games in the past like United away thinking ‘we dominated that game’ but we never really got anything for it. So I think this year was a big thing.”

Wilshere caused a stir at Sunday's trophy parade by leading fans in a familiar chant against arch-rivals Tottenham.

And he believes Arsenal will be better of them and others next season because their world class players Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will both improve again.

Bandar Bola -  But he also believes overcoming a mental barrier by winning trophies after a nine year drought and not having a nervy Champions League qualifier at the start of the campaign is crucial.

Wilshere added: “The big one for us is the Premier League. We’ve progressed this year, we’ve finished third and got automatic Champions League qualification.

We haven’t got that big game at the start of next season.

“That first trophy was a big mental boost. We’ve got players who can hurt teams with Sanchez and Ozil, world class players we’ve added in the last two seasons.

“Ozil has had a great season, he’s settled, and he’s a player I look up to. Sanchez’s first season was unheard of. So we’re looking forward to next season.

“There’s a group of us British players and a few of the foreign players, we’ve been together for a few years now. We know each other, we fight for each other.

“If a team like Arsenal with the quality we’ve got can fight for each other and win the ball back, we’re going to create chances.”

Jonas Gutierrez aims Twitter barb at Newcastle owner Mike Ashley after being released by Magpies

Judi Online -   Jonas Gutierrez slammed Mike Ashley on Twitter after he was told he wouldn't be given a new contract at Newcastle.

The 31-year-old battled cancer during his time with the Magpies and appeared to suggest he was given no support by Ashley in his bid to overcome the disease.

The Argentine wrote: "Two things I learn from my illness how you can support a player (newcastle fans) and how you leave a player alone (newcastle owner)."

In an earlier Facebook post, Gutierrez gave more thanks to the Magpies supporters, writing: "Thanks to all football fans and Newcastle fans for supporting me and trust in me.

"You are very important to me, football wouldn't be the same without you. All my effort and affection is for you!"

Gutierrez will exit the club alongside midfielder Ryan Taylor, who also hasn't been offered a new deal.

Bandar Bola -   Newcastle managing director Lee Charnley said: "Ryan and Jonas have both contributed significantly to Newcastle United over a number of years and on behalf of the Board, I would like to place on record our sincere thanks to both players for the excellent service they have given the club.

"It was a great pleasure to see Ryan and Jonas come back into the team in recent weeks and compete at the highest level after the injury and illness battles they have had to overcome.

"To come through those difficult periods with such strength and dignity will have given hope and inspiration to many and it is clear that our supporters have a deep connection and affection for both players, as does everyone associated with the club."

The pair will leave St James' Park when their deals run out on 30 June.

Angel Di Maria wanted by Bayern Munich as Manchester United dig their heels in over fee

Judi Online -   Bayern Munich want Angel Di Maria - but Manchester United will demand most of his record £59.7million fee.

Bayern have joined Paris St Germain in vying for Di Maria and it is believed the Bundesliga giants have discussed signing the Argentina forward.

Bayern can offer more cash than PSG, who are hamstrung by FFP restrictions, and feel Di Maria could revive their Champions League fortunes.

They are determined to make a statement in the summer transfer window and are also targeting Wolfsburg’s Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling.

United are not looking to offload Di Maria, despite his poor debut campaign following his British record £59.7million switch from Real Madrid last summer.

Bandar Bola -  However they would be interested if Bayern were willing to stump up most of the fee they paid Real.

Di Maria, who managed just four goals in 32 appearances for United, is understood to prefer a return to Spain if he is to leave Old Trafford and he has struggled to adjust to life in England.

But he could be tempted by a switch to Germany because of the opportunity to work with Bayern’s former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.

Di Maria, 27, has been a big disappointment at United and boss Louis van Gaal dropped him him for two months after his stupid red card against Arsenal in their FA Cup defeat in March.

Van Gaal only brought him back for Sunday’s final game of the season at Hull when he was forced off injured.

Chelsea finally lift the Premier League trophy after beating Sunderland at Stamford Bridge

Judi Online  -  It was as much leaving party as celebration for the champions.

Chelsea legends Didier Drogba, 37, and Petr Cech, 33, were given a wonderful send off as they bid farewell to Stamford Bridge during the post-match knees-up on the pitch.

Drogba’s goodbye was bizarre as he was carried off shoulder high by his team mates - after being substituted to a standing ovation from the fans after just half an hour.

It was the sort of thing you only see in testimonials. And, in truth, it did feel like a friendly at times as Sunderland’s defending didn’t exactly make life difficult for Chelsea.

In fact, Dick Advocaat’s men - already assured of survival - almost played their part in the celebrations as they stood aside and let Chelsea enjoy their coronation.

Steven Fletcher, with his first goal in six months, briefly threatened to be party pooper as he gave Sunderland a 26th minute lead. But it never really looked as if an upset was on the cards.

Diego Costa, who came on for Drogba, equalised from the penalty spot after Sunderland captain John O’Shea tripped Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado in the 37th minute.

Chelsea substitute Loic Remy, who has been a bit part player for so much of the season, showed he might have much to offer next season with two goals, albeit courtesy of some woeful defending.

Remy’s first came after 70 minutes when Sunderland keeper Vito Mannone should have stopped his 20 yard shot. The second came with a tap-in two minutes from time after the Sunderland defence went AWOL.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho paid a glowing tribute to Drogba - who was made captain - while the fans chanted at Cech “we want you to stay” throughout the game.

Bandar Bola  -  Mourinho said: “The substitution was decided because he had a problem with his knee and, in normal conditions, he could not play for long. We left him on for half an hour.

“The captaincy was John's desire, to give him the armband. The players to bring him off the pitch? I think that was decided between them because they like him a lot.

“It’s not just the fans, I also want (Cech to stay). I didn't sing it, but I keep saying the same. He's a legend of this club, but he's a legend at 33. 33 for a goalkeeper is a very young legend.

"When Thibaut Courtois was injured, Petr made decisive saves in matches for us. I'm not sure if Petr was not here in these seven matches if we could be champions, so his contribution was decisive.”

Mourinho held up eight fingers during the post-match celebrations to represent the number of titles he has won at four different clubs. But he has already set his sights on more.

“A lot, eh? I may run out of fingers in the future,” said Mourinho who threw his medal to his daughter Matilde into the crowd. “Let's go for ninth and tenth.

“We had the players from 2005 here. It’d be a dream to be here in 2025 and be with the champions of 2005, 2015 and 2025. That would be fantastic, but my future doesn't matter. What matters is Chelsea's future.”

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat revealed he has been offered a three year deal to stay but admitted the squad needs a major overhaul and says he will announce his decision quickly.

Advocaat said: “Wait and see. It's not up to me, because they offered me already two or three years. But I have to be honest to myself and to everybody what I will do for the future.”

Mauricio Pochettino tells Tottenham bosses he wants to KEEP £30million flop Erik Lamela

Judi Online -  Mauricio Pochettino has told Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy he wants to keep Erik Lamela at White Hart Lane.

The £30million club-record signing had been earmarked for sale this summer but Pochettino believes his fellow Argentine still has a future at the club, despite a difficult two years since his move from Roma.

Spurs will attempt to off-load four of the seven players they signed after the sale of Gareth Bale in 2013 - with Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Vlad Chiriches all in the out-tray.

But Lamela, 23, is to survive the cull - despite interest from Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

Spurs sporting director Franco Baldini is set to leave the club this summer, with all transfer business now going through recruitment chief Paul Mitchell, Pochettino's ally who was recruited from Southampton in mid-season.

Bandar Bola - Pochettino will be given the freedom to rebuild Tottenham's squad, with a sizeable net budget of around £30m allocated - he wants to strengthen in central defence and midfield and will also sign a striker to compete with Harry Kane.

Lamela was Baldini's marquee signing in the wake of Bale's departure, with the Italian boardroom operator having also been at Roma before Spurs.

There have been misgivings over the size of his transfer fee but Pochettino is convinced the player has settled in London and will prove a major player for the club next season.

Danny Rose will be sold to Manchester City if they meet Tottenham's £15m asking price for the left-back and Spurs will struggle to keep hold of Hugo Lloris if Manchester United or Paris St Germain come in with an offer of over £25m.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez under pressure to give frozen-out Sylvain Distin a proper send-off

Judi Online -  Roberto Martinez is coming under increasing pressure from within Goodison to allow Sylvain Distin an appropriate send-off.

The Everton boss revealed last week he has no plans to play the French defender in the club’s remaining games, even though it is clear Distin’s six-year tenure at the club will finish at the end of the season.

After more than 200 appearances for the Blues, the 37-year-old has fallen foul of his Spanish manager and has been cast into the Goodison wilderness this season – making his last appearance on January 6 in the FA Cup.

Since then, he has largely been excluded from the squad, rarely making the bench and getting no opportunities despite injury to John Stones and the poor form of Antolin Alcaraz.

Martinez reiterated last week that he will only make changes to his side with a view to next season, meaning he would give young players a chance, but ignore his veteran centre-half.

There is a feeling within the Everton hierarchy though, that Distin deserves at least to be offered a proper send-off from the Blues support, who appreciate the sterling effort he has given since signing from Portsmouth in 2009.

Bandar Bola - While Martinez has total control over team selection, it is understood some of the club’s senior figures will make a case for allowing Distin the chance to say goodbye by being part of the squad for the final game next weekend.

Everton entertain Spurs, and the Frenchman, who has promised to tell the “truth” about being cast into the wilderness by Martinez, would appreciate the opportunity to appear in front of the fans one final time.

Martinez has always maintained he will look at new contracts in the summer, but admitted it would be “odd” if the Frenchman were to be offered a new deal.

It is also understood that Alcaraz – is also out of contract in the summer – won’t be offered a new deal either, and England Under-21 defender Luke Garbutt seems certain to exercise his right to become a free agent with his contract expiring, leaving the Blues boss with the prospect of finding three new defenders in the transfer window.

Paul Ince slams Hull's treatment of son Tom, saying he can become 'the next Gareth Bale'

Judi Online -  Paul Ince has backed his son Tom to go on and emulate Gareth Bale, slamming current club Hull City in the process.

Ince junior joined the Tigers last summer, turning down bids from Inter Milan, Olympiacos, Monaco and Swansea to move to the KC Stadium.

However, he has found first-team opportunities difficult to come by - instead spending a large chunk of the season on loan at Derby County.

He impressed during his spell with the Rams, scoring 11 times in 18 Championship appearances, and father Paul says he can go all the way if he is given the opportunity.

He told the Times : "I'm disappointed in Hull, as in every game he's played he's done well. Instead of playing, he's sitting in my house at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon when his team are playing, which can't be right.

Bandar Bola - "I've not spoken to Brucey [Hull boss Steve Bruce] yet, but will be speaking to him very soon. If you allow Thomas to express himself, you'll get rewards, as they've seen at Derby.

"He's still got a bit to do, he's a little bit weak and will be a late developer. I remember looking at Bale and he was a little bit skinny, but the next year he bulked up and was outstanding. That's where Thomas is going to be next year."

Ince senior points to Hull's struggle for goals as to why his son should be getting more playing opportunities, saying his output for a winger is 'unbelievable'.

Tom has made just four substitute appearances for the Tigers in the Premier League. Hull could potentially be relegated this weekend if they lose at White Hart Lane this afternoon and other results go against them.

Manchester United revenues down by £20million as Champions League absence hits bottom line

Judi Online -  Manchester United's revenues are down by £20million - primiarily because of their failure to play in the Champions League.

United's latest figures revealed their revenues took the major hit in the first three months of the year, compared to the same period in 2014.

Figures released today show United made £95m in the three months leading up to March 31, compared to £115.5m last year, a drop of 17.7 percent.

Despite that fall, United's commercial revenues have grown from £42.8m last year to £47.8m and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward predicted their total revenue to be in the £385m and £395m range for the whole year.

Woodward said: “We remain confident about the future of our business.

"Our commercial revenues were up year over year and we are raising EBITDA guidance for fiscal year 2015 from £90-£95m to £103-£110m.

Broadcasting revenues fell to £21.7m in the three months to March 31 this year, compared with the £35.6m for the same period last year.

This was due to five fewer live broadcast games and two less home games in the current quarter, as well as United not participating in the Champions League.

Bandar Bola - For the same reasons, matchday revenues dropped 31.3 per cent from £37.1m last year to £25.5m this time around.

United's gross debt now stands at £395.4m. This time last year the club's debt was just over £350m.
Woodward also emphasised the importance of the club winning trophies next term as they look set to return to Europe's premier competition.

"As the season approaches its conclusion, we are pleased with the team’s performance in Louis van Gaal’s first season as manager and are positioned to achieve a top four finish in the Premier League and to return to European football next year," he added.

"As we look forward to next season, on the playing side we expect to be challenging for trophies in all competitions and on the commercial side we are excited by the numerous opportunities for further growth, including the first year of our ten year partnership with adidas."

Liverpool defender Glen Johnson poised for surprise free transfer back to West Ham

Judi Online -  Glen Johnson is poised for a return to West Ham, writes Neil Moxley in the Sunday People.

The Hammers are understood to be in negotiations to bring the England international back to Upton Park.

Johnson, 30, began his career with the Eastenders before moving to Chelsea as the first signing of the Roman Abramovich era at Stamford Bridge.

Having spent the last six years with Liverpool, Johnson is out of contract in the summer with no prospect of being offered a new deal.

Carl Jenkinson has performed well for Sam Allardyce in the right-back slot this season but is poised to return to Arsenal at the end of the campaign. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger confirmed last week that he intends to keep Jenkinson.

And West Ham’s pursuit of Johnson shows that Jenkinson is unlikely to return for the club’s final season at Upton Park.

The Hammers are confident of landing their man after making an early move to grab his signature.

And Johnson could find his former England boss Steve McClaren in charge if he signs. The Derby manager has committed his future to the Rams after turning down Newcastle last week.

Bandar Bola - But West Ham could be ready to part company with Sam Allardyce and have added McClaren’s name to a list of possible replacements.

Johnson’s fellow Liverpool defender Kolo Toure could also be on his way out after he revealed he is tempted to swap Merseyside for one of the top clubs in France’s Ligue 1.

The 34-year-old will be out of contract at Anfield this summer and has yet to agree a new deal.

The former Arsenal and Manchester City star, who was born in French-speaking Ivory Coast, could now cross the Channel this summer.

He had a trial with Strasbourg while at Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas before joining the Gunners in 2002.

Toure said: “I've never played in France, but I don’t see why I shouldn’t in the future.

“I know it is a league where you need to be strong, but I feel good and physically ready for it.

“I would not mind taking a pay cut to play in Ligue 1. When I was a kid I supported Marseille during the time Basile Boli played for them.

“Now I am a big admirer of Lyon, Lille and Saint-Etienne. They are all good clubs.”

Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge could be out until NOVEMBER after hip injury operation

Judi Online - Daniel Sturridge faces a SIX month lay-off following complex surgery intended to cure a chronic hip problem.

But Liverpool still believe that is the best possible outcome for the striker... because it means they have finally got to the bottom of his endless injury problems.

England star Sturridge went under the knife in New York on Tuesday. A procedure that lasted four hours saw one of the top specialists in the United States undertake exploratory and remedial work in the hip joint.

That operation was so intrusive that the 25-year-old now requires a minimum of four months rest and recuperation before he can even consider returning to training.

And with a period of around six weeks required to complete the usual 'pre-season' fitness programme to allow him to return to first team action, then the forward is facing the best part of SIX months before he can kick a ball in anger again.

That would mean Liverpool are without their number one striker until October at the earliest, and the news will come as a bitter blow to fans already reeling from Thursday's news that Manchester United have beaten them to PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay.

Bandar Bola - But sources both within the club and close to the Sturridge camp claim they are delighted with the way the operation has gone... because it uncovered some serious issues that may be related to the muscle problems that ruined the player's 2014-15 season.

Sturridge has started just seven league games this year, after being struck down with thigh, calf, thigh again and then hip problems and been branded a 'sicknote' in some quarters.

Yet the surgeon – Dr Bryan T Kelly, who is a renowned hip specialist and is team physician for the NFL's New York Giants and MLS's New York Red Bulls – discovered what he believes is a link to all the related injuries when he performed the arthroscopic procedure at the Big Apple's Hospital for Special Surgery.

While it is a devastating blow in the short term, given the problems the Reds have had in scoring
goals this season and the struggle they will face to sign strikers in the summer, the club believes it will be worth it in the long term if it cures Sturridge's injury issues.

Dr Kelly has explained he believes the success of the operation will allow the player to be free from pain and restriction in the muscles related to the hip, which will largely cure his frustrating injury woes.

Cesc Fabregas: "Magic" Jose Mourinho is the best manager I have played under

Judi Online -  Cesc Fabregas last night warned Chelsea’s Premier League rivals by claiming their title is just the beginning of a new era of success.

Fabregas has boldly insisted Chelsea have got the potential to be the best team in Europe as he says Jose Mourinho’s “magic touch” makes him the best manager he has ever worked under.

Former Gunners captain Fabregas clearly puts Mourinho even ahead of his mentor Arsene Wenger who gave him his debut at 16 but was never able to make him a champion.

Chelsea midfielder Fabregas said: “Hopefully it will be the start of a new era, a new team. Hopefully the new players now feel this winning mentality can go on for a long time.

“Even obviously we have the likes of John Terry, Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic and Jon Obi Mikel, they have all been here seven or eight years, even longer.

“I have always said since the beginning of the season that it is a very young talented team, and that as well is one of the causes that made me sign for the club, is that, potentially, this team can be one of the best in Europe.

“He (Mourinho) just loves winning. I’m not just saying other managers I have played under don’t, but he has some edge that goes above anyone else I have ever been with.

“The mentality shows every single training session, or game. I now understand why he has won what he has won in his career.

“Yes, Mourinho has a touch of magic, 100 per cent. He knows how to manage a team, he knows how to get the best out of you, and that’s what you want from a manager. 100 per cent."

Bandar Bola - Fabregas : who has not spoken to Wenger since his return to English football - has played with some of the best in the world, worked under some of the best managers and yet clearly rates Mourinho and Chelsea as the best.

His confidence that Chelsea can dominate for the next few seasons will be a warning to Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United.

And Fabregas - who could be made vice captain when Petr Cech leaves this summer - believes Eden Hazard can go on to be the best in the world - and even puts him in the same bracket as former Barcelona team mate Lionel Messi.

Fabregas added: “He can be one of those (like Messi), for sure. He can be up there for sure. He’s had a fantastic season, I just want for him to do it again next year and to be even better.

“He’s the main guy. In my mind he is the guy that makes this team better than it is.

"Next year he has to prove himself in the Champions League as well because he is capable of that, and I am sure he will give many big nights of glory to this club.”

Chelsea striker Diego Costa set to miss the rest of the season, says boss Jose Mourinho

Judi Online -  Jose Mourinho has revealed Diego Costa is out for the rest of the season - unless Chelsea spectacularly blow their Premier League title bid on Sunday.

The Brazil-born Spain striker has missed the Blues' last four games since suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem against Stoke on April 4.

Asked whether he would feature again this season, Mourinho - whose side will be Champions if they beat Crystal Palace on Sunday - said: “There is a chance he might not. There is a chance he might not.

“If we win Sunday, I would say he doesn't play against Liverpool [next week].

“If we don't win on Sunday and we need points against Liverpool, I'd say he would play against them. It's about result after result, needs and needs.

“If we don't need, probably he doesn't play (again). A long break? A good period of work, rather. We are preparing a good working situation for him during the holiday period where he can obviously mix the holiday with work without fear.”

Costa, signed from Atletico Madrid last summer for £32million, has played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s surge to the brink of the Premier League title this season.

Bandar Bola - The marksman has hit 19 goals including nine in his first seven Premier League games.

But Mourinho, who has Loic Remy fit again after injury, maintains Costa is too valuable to risk if the club are able to win the League without him.

He added: “It just it isn't worth the risk. In this process, in the last month, if we lose a game – and we don't want to lose a second – he will be back immediately.

“Immediately. Because the results in the last month were always victories and a draw against the team in second, we don't need to rush. We are trying to give him maximum stability for him to be stronger and stronger. No need for any risk. Remy is back.”
