KampusbeT ~ " Louis van Gaal admits Manchester United "couldn't cope" with Liverpool in Europa League humbling "
Agen Klik4D ~ Louis van Gaal has admitted that his Manchester United side need a near miracle to turn around a disastrous Anfield performance.
But the Old Trafford boss remained defiant, as he fought back against a barrage of criticism, after Liverpool took his team apart in the Europa League.
United are on the brink after Roberto Firmino inspired a brilliant Reds
performance, and an electric atmosphere at the famous Old Stadium, that had Paul Scholes fuming “it could have been five – Liverpool were 10 times better”.
Rio
Ferdinand also waded in against his old club, and Van Gaal did admit it
wasn't good enough as his side barely created a chance worthy of the
name, and were saved from a thrashing only by the brilliance of David De
Gea.
But he said he believes in miracles: “You have to believe in
everything, you have to believe we can create an atmosphere that
Liverpool have done here at Anfield and then everything is possible.
Bandar Judi Online Klik4D ~ “Of
course it is right, we did not create enough chances, I can not deny
that. I don't think that we were very creative, but it was also the
defence of Liverpool, and you can give the greatest credit to Liverpool.
“We
have to improve a lot to score goals though, we know. I have seen that
we did not cope with the high pressure of Liverpool, we could not cope
and that created a great atmosphere in the stadium.
“But they got a cheap goal for the first, I think their player is
falling down not because he was kicked by Memphis. The second goal was a
cheap one too - Henderson was in an offside position when he played the
ball.
“When you are so sharp you can see the foul has been made by Memphis Depay in the box, then you have to see also it's offside.
"But
I have a very nasty feeling Liverpool were of course the better team.
It is true, they had many chances and David De Gea was fantastic.
Now we
have to create that atmosphere also, and we have to bring pressure to
them.”
